Vincent Breton-Provencher, PhD

Assistant professor at the department of Psychiatry and Neuroscience of Université Laval and researcher at CERVO Brain Research Centre. He did his postdoc in the lab of Dr. Mriganka Sur at MIT where he studied the role of noradrenaline in brain states and learned behaviors. He received his PhD in Neurobiology and his BSc in Physics Engineering from Université Laval. He loves collecting records. CV

Sarah-Julie Bouchard, BSc.

Master’s Student, Neuroscience. Sarah-Julie graduated from the BSc program in Biomedical Sciences from Université Laval. She joined the lab in January 2022. She studies the behavioral and cellular mechanisms regulating catecholamine release.

Emmeraude Tanguay, BSc.

Master’s Student, Neuroscience. Emmeraude graduated from the BSc program in Neuroscience from Université de Montréal. She joined the lab in May 2022 to study the effect of neuromodulator system on cortical networks.

Joël Boutin, PhD

Research Scientist, Joël received his PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Université Laval. He previously worked in the labs of Drs Ryczko and Bentzinger at Université de Sherbrooke.

Antoine Daigle, B.Eng.

Master’s Student in Biophotonics. Antoine has an engineering degree in physics specialized in photonics. He will investigate new way of using light to monitor neuromodulator dynamics in the brain.

Gabrielle Germain, B.Eng.

Master’s Student in Medical Physics. Gabrielle has an engineering degree in physics specialized in photonics. She will develu large scale neurovascular dynamics.
